Our one-day Level Two safeguarding course, delivered across two half-day sessions as part of an online training event, focuses on identifying and signposting safeguarding concerns in higher education settings, and the practical implications for safeguarding in our work.

This half-day Level Three top-up session is for those who have completed our Level Two course. It focuses on senior or leadership aspects of safeguarding, including making external safeguarding referrals and responding effectively to some of the more challenging situations that can arise.

In this half-day session, we explore the purpose of Fitness to Study panels (often called Support to Study panels), how we should prepare for a panel meeting, how a panel should consider evidence about the student, and how we can respond to tricky situations arising during the panel meeting itself.
